Chaps

Chaps is a true blue ranch horse that is solid gold! He is everything you could ask for: the right size, age, resume, color, and most importantly the right disposition! We’ve enjoyed Chaps in many different ways including taking guests on trail rides, working cattle, riding in mountain country, roping calves, or throwing the kids on double. He is user friendly. Chaps doesn’t mind riding out alone and is just as kind natured after being laid off. He has good cow sense and handles a rope like it’s his business. I love asking for his big outside walk or trot when I want to get somewhere, because he can extend without feeling like he’s in a hurry. Chaps has been our family horse; my husband rides him for work, I ride him for pleasure, and our young kids love to love him too. He is just right!
