Wiley

Previously known as Malibu, Wiley is a gentle horse who can do a little bit of everything! He’s super familiar with gathering pastures and falling in behind a set of cows and is just as great out on trails. I know I can pitch down a lot of rein and trust him to carry me anywhere I’d like to go! He is very cowy too, and will pin his ears and hustle them along without having to be told! In addition to gathering cows, we have spent a lot of time running the saddlehorses off pasture on Wiley, where he is trustworthy and holds up his end of the job. He stays gentle with time off and has a good walk, a ground covering trot and a comfortable lope that can cover the miles without feeling rushed. He has remained the same through rain or shine, and is a solid, all-around horse for intermediate-type riders! Ridden by Ingrid Burkholder.
