Diamond-McNabb Ranch Horses

Chief, Hip 42

2006 Bay Gelding

BJ Playboy Chief - AQHA

Chief is one of those horses that anyone would like to own. He has an impressive ranch horse resume: used for everything on the ranch including roping, wrangling, doctoring, gathering etc, he can also “go to town” in both team roping and ranch sorting. He has won multiple checks as well as belt buckles and other prizes in RSNC sorting, where he would be an excellent horse for a #1-3 rated rider. He is also a great team roping horse where he majors in heading and minors in heeling. He is quiet in the box, and would be suitable for a young or inexperienced roper, or someone who wants to go compete in weekend jackpots. Chief has a well put together, built-to-last frame, and a perfect ranch horse pedigree. He has a smooth, slow lope and a long trot that will get you where you need to go in a hurry. He has always been level headed when working cattle in crowded alleys, does great pushing and tracking cattle, or rides off on his own to go find more. Chief has been ridden by various riders of differing ages and abilities, and everyone has gotten along with him very well. He is solid and able for a beginner rider on up to an experienced hand. Chief exemplifies what the Quarter Horse breed is all about. Ridden by Jake Smith. FMI: 307-298-5030.·
